Command Sergeant Major Gregory M. Lott became the second Army University Provost Command Sergeant Major on June 17, 2016. He was born in Peoria, Illinois, the youngest of eight children and graduated from Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1985. He has earned an Associate Degree from Barton County Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Liberty University, and a Masters of Arts from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Lott entered the Army in December 1988. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
